Common use of Responsibility Pay Clause in Contracts

Responsibility Pay. 1901 A nurse temporarily assigned to perform all or substantially all of the duties of a more senior classification or a nurse designated as being "in charge" will receive an allowance of one dollar ($1.00) for each hour worked. A Licensed Practical Nurse will receive responsibility pay when she/he is assigned charge nurse responsibilities by the Employer. 1902 Assignment of "charge" responsibility shall be equitably distributed amongst those nurses available and qualified for the assignment.
