RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY. a. The University agrees to exercise reasonable care to safeguard the health, safety, and property of the Resident and will make a good faith effort to repair properly reported defects in residential facilities. The University shall not be liable for failure of water supply, electrical current, or heating/cooling systems; presence of insects or vermin; or the loss, damage, or injury to a resident or his or her guest or the property of the Resident or guest. In the event of utility or facility disruptions, housing fees will not be reimbursed.
