Resident Educator Program Mentor Requirements. Mentors shall have at least five years of successful classroom teaching experience, three of which must be in Xenia. The mentor will complete training offered by the Ohio Department of Education, or local training offered by the Resident Educator Program Director. Mentor Assignment Mentors will be assigned by the Personnel Office in collaboration with the Building Principal and the Resident Educator Program Director. Efforts will be made to be match mentors and Resident Educators with subject area/grade level similarity.
