Common use of Requested Day Off Clause in Contracts

Requested Day Off. ‌ Employees, who request in writing and are granted a specific day(s) off prior to the posting of the work schedule, shall not have their hours of work for the week reduced as a result of the request being granted, provided not more than two (2) requests to a maximum of two (2) days each per four (4) week calendar period. It is understood that the above shall be subject to operational requirements and the employee’s restriction. The above will not restrict a Department Manager from granting additional days off.
