Request for Assistance Whenever, in the opinion of a Requesting Official of a Party, there is a need for Public Works Assistance from another Party, such Requesting Official may, at his or her discretion, call upon the Sending Official of any other Party to furnish Public Works Assistance.
Voluntary Request for Assistance A member may voluntarily enter rehabilitation without a requirement of prior testing. A member who desires Employee Assistance Program (EAP) assistance may notify the City's EAP Administrator. A member who seeks voluntary assistance through his/her own service provider without notifying the City's EAP Administrator will not receive the protections from discipline afforded by this Section 17.11. Assistance on request 1. At the request of the applicant authority, the requested authority shall furnish it with all relevant information to enable it to ensure that customs legislation is correctly applied, including information regarding operations noted or planned which are or could be in breach of such legislation.
Form and substance of requests for assistance 1. Requests pursuant to this Protocol shall be made in writing. They shall be accompanied by the documents necessary to enable compliance with the request. When required because of the urgency of the situation, oral requests may be accepted, but must be confirmed in writing immediately.
Request for Hearing The employee must file a written request for hearing within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the Notice of Dismissal or Suspension. Filing means receipt in the office designated no later than regular close of business on the last day of the filing period. Failure to file such request in a timely manner shall be deemed a waiver of the right to a hearing and the proposed action shall be effective upon action by the Governing Board without notice or hearing except as may be required in a board meeting agenda.

Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.
Directory Assistance Service shall provide up to two listing requests per call, if available and if requested by Freedom's End User. BellSouth shall provide caller- optional directory assistance call completion service at rates set forth in BellSouth's General Subscriber Services Tariff to one of the provided listings.
