Common use of Reporting Pay and Minimum Pay Clause in Contracts

Reporting Pay and Minimum Pay. Any employee who is scheduled to report for work on their regular schedule, and who presents himself for work as scheduled, but where work is not available, or made available for them, shall be excused from duty and paid at the employee's regular rate for four (4) hours. The guarantee of four (4) hours pay to an employee shall be inapplicable if an employee fails to report at the scheduled starting time or otherwise is unable to perform their normal duties for the full shift.
