Repairs to ranger station at Abalone Caye. The ranger station provides accommodation to the rangers on duty and includes a surveillance tower used for law enforcement. Contract work will be awarded to conduct the repairs, which will include replacement of broken windows, replacement of decaying lumber, rebuilding a 20ft X 12ft store room and rebuilding wooden water catchment stands. KfW funds will cover half the cost ($15,000). The other 50% will be covered by funding from Seacology ($15,000).
