RELEASE VOID Clause Samples

The RELEASE VOID clause serves to nullify or invalidate any prior releases of liability or claims between the parties. In practice, this means that if a release was previously signed—such as a waiver of claims or a settlement agreement—this clause would render that release ineffective, restoring the parties' rights to pursue claims as if the release had never been executed. Its core function is to ensure that no party can rely on a prior release to avoid responsibility, thereby preserving the ability to seek legal remedies or enforce rights that might otherwise have been waived.
