Common use of Rehires Clause in Contracts

Rehires. In the event an employee leaves the service of the Employer and within the next two years the Employer re-hires said former employee in the same classification to which assigned at date of termination, such employee shall be placed at the step in the salary range which he/she occupied at the time of the original termination. Such previous time worked shall be included for the purpose of determining eligibility for service steps.
