Regional Aquatics Monitoring Program Sample Clauses

Regional Aquatics Monitoring Program. Xxxxx, a member of RAMP, has been working with other insitu operators in the Xxxxxxxxx Lake area since 2008 to make RAMP’s aquatic monitoring programs more relevant to Devon operations and community stakeholders. Although changes to the monitoring network were on hold during the federal and provincial oil sands monitoring reviews, plans are in place for 2012 to establish a climate station and monitoring sites relevant to Devon’s Jackfish and Pike projects that could potentially affect Xxxxxxxxx Lake drainages. The current RAMP mandate is to address monitoring within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB). Changes to the boundaries effective in 2012 mean that Devon’s Jackfish and Pike projects are no longer within the boundary of the RMWB. In addition, watercourses for the Project do not contribute to the Athabasca River watershed. However, Xxxxx will continue to work through RAMP to best determine how regional impacts associated with the Project can be addressed through RAMP. Devon currently maintains Project-specific hydrology and water quality monitoring programs for watercourses potentially affected by the Project.
