Professional Development; Adverse Consequences of School Exclusion; Student Behavior The Board President or Superintendent, or their designees, will make reasonable efforts to provide ongoing professional development to Board members about the adverse consequences of school exclusion and justice-system involvement, effective classroom management strategies, culturally responsive discipline, appropriate and available supportive services for the promotion of student attendance and engagement, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods that promote positive and healthy school climates, i.e., Senate Bill 100 training topics. Grantee Ownership Grantee must deliver copies of all Work Product as directed in Exhibit A. Grantee retains ownership of all Work Product, and grants Agency an irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, to reproduce, to prepare derivative works based upon, to distribute, to perform and to display the Work Product, to authorize others to do the same on Agency’s behalf, and to sublicense the Work Product to other entities without restriction.
Gender and Development 24. The Borrower shall ensure that the principles of gender equity aimed at increasing Project benefits and impacts on women in the Project area consistent with ADB’s Policy on Gender and Development (1998) are followed during implementation of the Project, including (a) equal pay to men and women for work of equal value; (b) enabling working conditions for women workers; and (c) taking necessary actions to encourage women living in the Project area to participate in the design and implementation of the Project activities.
