Reduction in Work Force or Layoffs. A. Whenever it becomes necessary to reduce the number of employees in a job class due to abolition of a position or lack of funds, or lack of work, the layoff of classified employees shall be in accordance with Civil Service law and the procedures approved by the Columbus Civil Service Commission.
