Approve and instruct the Chairman of the Board to sign the attached Agreement for Special Legal Services with OIM for the Probation Department with Xxxx Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx, commencing on September 22, 2014, and terminating June 30, 2017, with a total base annual compensation amount not to exceed $178,226, plus actual and necessary expenses incurred.
RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD. 1. Approve and instruct the Chairman to sign the attached Agreement with the City to provide the services of one senior criminalist to perform DNA testing, analysis, and forensic-related consulting for the City, effective upon execution by the Board through June 30, 2015, with two one-year option periods upon the consent by both parties. The annual cost of services for Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 is $158,615 which is fully funded by the City.
RECOMMENDED THAT THE BOARD. 1. Delegate authority to the Sheriff to execute the attached Agreement with the DEA, commencing upon execution by both parties and terminating on September 30, 2017, for participation in the SCD Task Force. Department overtime salary costs associated with the SCD Task Force shall be reimbursed by DEA.
