Purpose of Evaluation. The primary purpose of the tenured faculty performance evaluation is to xxxxxx the personal and professional development of the faculty member, by providing a useful and substantive assessment of performance, recognition and acknowledgment of good performance, and enhancement of performance by identification of areas needing improvement. The evaluation program is supported by a District commitment to assist faculty members through opportunities for improvement and staff development. It is intent of both parties that evaluations are to be conducted in a supportive and collegial manner.
