Common use of PROVINCIAL SAFETY COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

PROVINCIAL SAFETY COMMITTEE. The parties to this Agreement agree to establish and operate a Provincial Safety Committee for the purpose of investigating, analyzing and reporting of all accidents, including lost time injuries, and generally for the purpose of improving the safety of the elevator industry. Such Committee shall consist of three (3) members appointed by the Union and three (3) members appointed by the Employers, or such other number on a parity basis. The Committee shall have the authority to request notification of all accidents on such forms as are prescribed from time to time, to be used solely for the purpose of analyzing the nature and type of injuries occurring in the industry.
