Common use of PROTECTION OF WORK Clause in Contracts

PROTECTION OF WORK. 19.1 Subcontractor is responsible for protection of the Work and the work of others from damage caused by its operations until final completion and acceptance thereof by Owner and Contractor, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties in writing. Subcontractor at its sole cost and expense shall repair or replace, at Contractor’s option, any damage to the Work, and any other damages caused thereby, that occurs prior to final completion and acceptance by Owner and Contractor.

PROTECTION OF WORK. 19.1 18.1 Subcontractor is responsible for protection of the Work and the work of others from damage caused by its operations until final completion and acceptance thereof by Owner and ContractorDesign-Builder, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties in writing. Subcontractor at its sole cost and expense shall repair or replace, at ContractorDesign-Builder’s option, any damage to the Work, and any other damages caused thereby, that occurs prior to final completion and acceptance by Owner and ContractorDesign-Builder.

If Subcontractor or its employees are responsible for protection of the Work and the work of others from damage caused by its operations until final completion and acceptance thereof by Owner and Contractor, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties in writing. Subcontractor at its sole cost and expense shall repair any loss or replace, at Contractor’s option, any damage to the Workwork or materials of Contractor, Owner, Owner's separate contractors or any other subcontractor, it shall be charged with same, and any other damages caused thereby, that occurs prior monies necessary to final completion and acceptance by Owner and Contractorreplace such loss or damage shall be deducted from monies due Subcontractor.

PROTECTION OF WORK. 19.1 Subcontractor is responsible for protection of the Work and shall protect the work and finishes of others other trades, suppliers, and vendors, protect existing property, and protect property adjacent to the project from loss or damage caused by its operations until final completion and acceptance thereof by Owner and Contractor, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties in writingSubcontractor or those for whom Subcontractor is responsible. Subcontractor at its sole cost will ensure each day’s Work is properly covered and expense shall repair or replace, at Contractor’s option, any damage to protected from the Work, and any other damages caused thereby, that occurs prior to final completion and acceptance by Owner and Contractorelements.

Any default of the Subcontractor in such protection or replace, at repairs may be remedied by the Contractor’s option, any damage to the Work, and the cost deducted from any other damages caused thereby, that occurs prior to final completion and acceptance by Owner and Contractorpayment or balance due hereunder.
