Property of Resident. The home is not responsible for loss of any property belonging to you due to theft or any other cause unless such loss is caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of the home or its employees or agents. If you wish to purchase insurance in the event of damage to your property or the loss of your property, you are responsible for purchasing and maintaining such insurance. We prefer residents don’t bring valuable items upon moving in i.e. jewelry, expensive artwork, etc. We will not be held liable for any missing items.

  • Liability of Resident The Resident is liable for any damage to the building structure, fittings, fixtures, finishes, furniture and equipment comprising the Resident’s Room, except only if such damage is caused by the proven negligence of the Institution or the Manager. The Resident is liable for any damage to the building structure, fittings, finishes, furniture and equipment beyond the confines of the Resident’s Room should the damage arise from the negligence or willful act of the Resident. The Manager and the Institution do not assume any responsibility for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged from any cause. The Resident is strongly encouraged to obtain insurance to cover the above liabilities. Residence does not purchase such protection for personal property. The Resident must also take positive steps to ensure their safety by locking Room doors, and ensuring that only authorized persons enter their Room, suite and/or the building.

  • Property of Company All information, ideas, concepts, improvements, discoveries, and inventions, whether patentable or not, which are conceived, made, developed or acquired by Executive, individually or in conjunction with others, during Executive’s employment by Company (whether during business hours or otherwise and whether on Company’s premises or otherwise) which relate to the business, products or services of Company or its affiliates shall be disclosed to Company and are and shall be the sole and exclusive property of Company and its affiliates.
