Prohibited Interests in City Contracts. No member of the governing body of the City or other unit of government and no other officer, employee or agent of the City or other unit of government who exercises any functions or responsibilities in connection with the work or services to which this Contract pertains is permitted to have any personal interest, direct or indirect, in this Contract. No member of or delegate to the Congress of the United States or the Illinois General Assembly and no xxxxxxxx of the City or City employee is allowed to be admitted to any share or part of this Contract or to any financial benefit to arise from it.

  • Prohibited Interests Consultant maintains and warrants that it has not employed nor retained any company or person, other than a bona fide employee working solely for Consultant, to solicit or secure this Agreement. Further, Consultant warrants that it has not paid nor has it agreed to pay any company or person, other than a bona fide employee working solely for Consultant, any fee, commission, percentage, brokerage fee, gift or other consideration contingent upon or resulting from the award or making of this Agreement. Consultant further agrees to file, or shall cause its employees or subconsultants to file, a Statement of Economic Interest with the City’s Filing Officer as required under state law in the performance of the Services. For breach or violation of this warranty, City shall have the right to rescind this Agreement without liability. For the Term of this Agreement, no member, officer or employee of City, during the term of his or her service with City, shall have any direct interest in this Agreement, or obtain any present or anticipated material benefit arising therefrom.

  • Disclosures; Prohibited Interests Independent of whether Consultant is required to file a Form 700, Consultant warrants and represents that it has disclosed to City any economic interests held by Consultant, or its employees or subcontractors who will be performing the Required Services, in any real property or project which is the subject of this Agreement. Consultant warrants and represents that it has not employed or retained any company or person, other than a bona fide employee or approved subcontractor working solely for Consultant, to solicit or secure this Agreement. Consultant further agrees to notify City in the event any such interest is discovered whether or not such interest is prohibited by law or this Agreement. For breach or violation of any of these warranties, City shall have the right to rescind this Agreement without liability.

  • PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 2271.001, Texas Government Code:

  • Rollovers of Settlement Payments From Bankrupt Airlines If you are a qualified airline employee who has received a qualified airline settlement payment from a commercial airline carrier under the approval of an order of a federal bankruptcy court in a case filed after September 11, 2001, and before January 1, 2007, you are allowed to roll over any portion of the proceeds into your Xxxx XXX within 180 days after receipt of such amount, or by a later date if extended by federal law.   • Prohibition on Contracts with Companies Boycotting Israel To the extent that Texas Government Code, Chapter 2271 applies to this Agreement, PROVIDER certifies that (a) it does not currently boycott Israel; and (b) it will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. PROVIDER acknowledges this Agreement may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.

  • COSTS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH COUNTYWIDE COST ALLOCATIONS The indirect overhead and support service costs listed in the Summary Schedule (attached) are formally approved as actual costs for fiscal year 2020-21, and as estimated costs for fiscal year 2022-23 on a “fixed with carry-forward” basis. These costs may be included as part of the county departments’ costs indicated effective July 1, 2022, for further allocation to federal grants and contracts performed by the respective county departments.
