Prohibited Discrimination. Ensure that applicants for employment are employed and employees are treated during employment without discrimination on the basis of their race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or status as a parent, as provided in Executive Order No. 11246 and by any later Executive Order that amends or supersedes it, and as specified by U.S. Department of Labor regulations,
Prohibited Discrimination. The Owner shall not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, familial status, national origin or disability in the lease, use or occupancy of the Project. Age discrimination and discrimination against minor dependents, except when units are specifically being held for the elderly, are also not permitted.
Prohibited Discrimination. The SUBRECIPIENT shall not discriminate against any passenger because of race, color, sex, age, handicap, religion, ancestry, marital status, national origin, place of birth or sexual orientation in accordance with the State of Michigan provisions for “Prohibition of Discrimination in State Contracts”, dated August of 1985, which is hereby incorporated by reference. The SUBRECIPIENT shall not discriminate based upon race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, height, weight, familial status, marital status, or sexual orientation, in accordance with Civil Rights Act of 1964, being P.L. 88-352, 78 Stat. 241, as amended, being Title 42 U.S.C. Sections 1971, 1975a-1975d, and 2000a-2000h-6, Section 303 of the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Section 202 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 49 U.S.C. Section 5332, the Michigan Xxxxxx-Xxxxxx Civil Rights Act, MCLA 37.2101 et seq., and SMART policy. The SUBRECIPIENT shall comply with FTA Circular C 9070.1G, as may be amended or updated, with respect to all provisions on Civil Rights and discrimination including, but not limited to, Chapter VIII, §9. The SUBRECIPIENT shall require similar covenants on the part of any contractor or subcontractor employed in the performance of the PROJECT for which this Contract is made.
Prohibited Discrimination. The parties agree that this Agreement shall be applied without unlawful discrimination as to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, political affiliation, or genetic information that is unrelated to the person's ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position. Claims that allege violation(s) of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) may be processed through Step 3 of the grievance procedure provided in Article 9, without prejudicing the employee's right to file suit or other procedures established by law. Any other employee(s)’ charges of employment discrimination shall be handled exclusively by and through the appropriate State or Federal agencies, or through appropriate judicial proceedings.
Prohibited Discrimination. The Vendor agrees not to discriminate against any Eligible Household regarding the extension of credit to purchase Home Energy or other services, the price of Home Energy or other services, or the terms or conditions of the delivery of Home Energy or other services solely on the basis of its being an Eligible Household.
Prohibited Discrimination. SFMTA shall not exclude persons from participation in, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any persons in connection with the award and performance of any contract governed by the Regulations on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin. The City and County of San Francisco also prohibits discrimination on the basis of (the fact or perception of a person’s) race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic partner status, marital status, disability or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or HIV status (AIDS/HIV status).
Prohibited Discrimination. The Employer and the Union agree not to discriminate against any person in regard to hire, tenure of employment or job status or termination of employment because of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability.
Prohibited Discrimination. Discrimination based on the Prohibited Grounds (“Prohibited Discrimination”) has occurred if an employee has been discriminated against regarding a term or condition of employment or otherwise adversely affected in the workplace based on one or more of the Prohibited Grounds. In rare and exceptional circumstances, Prohibited Discrimination may be justified based on a bona fide occupational requirement.
Prohibited Discrimination. The Named Business Account shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, nationality, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, age, or presence of any sensory, mental, or physical handicap in the administration of its transportation program, the provision of ORCA Business Cards and ORCA Products or the performance of any acts under this Agreement. The Named Business Account shall comply fully with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances, executive orders and regulations which prohibit such discrimination.
Prohibited Discrimination. Dental Office shall not unlawfully discriminate in the treatment of his/her patients by reason of sex, race, nationality, religion, health or economic status.
