Civil Rights. Contractor attests that services provided shall be in accordance with the provisions of Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 as amended; Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and other applicable State and federal laws and regulations prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital status, sex or disability.
Civil Rights. 49 USC § 47123: Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders and such rules as are promulgated to assure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. This provision binds Contractor and subtier contractors from the solicitation period through the completion of the Agreement. This provision is in addition to that required of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Civil Rights. Contractor represents and warrants that Contractor complies with all applicable requirements regarding civil rights. Such requirements prohibit discrimination against individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
Civil Rights. The Design-Builder, with regard to the work performed by it under the Contract, will not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurements of materials and leases of equipment. Design-Builder will not participate directly or indirectly in the discrimination prohibited by the Acts and the Regulations, including employment practices when the Contract covers any activity, project, or program set forth in Appendix B of 49 CFR part 21. During the performance of this Contract, Design-Builder, for itself, its assignees, and successors in interest agrees to comply with the following nondiscrimination statutes and authorities, including but not limited to:
Civil Rights. A. Nondiscrimination - In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000d, section 303 of the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 6102, section 202 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 41 U.S.C. § 12132, and Federal transit law at 49 U.S.C. § 5332, the Contractor agrees that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, or disability. In addition, the Contractor agrees to comply with applicable Federal implementing regulations and other implementing requirements FTA may issue.
Civil Rights. It will promptly take any measures necessary to ensure that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in any activity conducted with, or benefiting from, funds received from this grant.
Civil Rights. The Subrecipient agrees to abide and be governed by Title VI and VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 USC 2000 D & E) and Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended, which provides in part that there will not be discrimination of race, color, sexual orientation, religion, handicap or national origin in performance of this Agreement, in regard to persons served, or in regard to employees or applicants for employment. It is expressly understood that upon receipt of evidence of such discrimination, the City shall have the right to terminate this Agreement. The Subrecipient also agrees to abide and be governed by the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended, 42 USC, which provides in part that there shall be no discrimination against persons in any area of employment because of age.
Civil Rights. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (42 U.S.C. § 2000d et seq.); 24 C.F.R. Part l, “Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Housing and Urban Development - Effectuation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964”; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended by the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 (42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq.); Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, “The Fair Housing Act of 1968” (42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq.), as amended; Executive Order 11063, as amended by Executive Order 12259, and 24 C.F.R. Part 107, “Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity in Housing under Executive Order 11063”; The failure or refusal of Subrecipient to comply with the requirements of Executive Order 11063 or 24 C.F.R. Part 107 shall be a proper basis for the imposition of sanctions specified in 24 C.F.R. 107.60; The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (42 U.S.C. § 6101, et seq.); and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794.) and “Nondiscrimination Based on Handicap in Federally-Assisted Programs and Activities of the Department of Housing and Urban Development”, 24 C.F.R. Part 8. By signing this Agreement, Subrecipient understands and agrees that the activities funded shall be performed in accordance with 24 C.F.R. Part 8; and the Architectural Barriers Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. § 4151, et seq.), including the use of a telecommunications device for deaf persons (TDDs) or equally effective communication system.
