Common use of Prohibited Discrimination Clause in Contracts

Prohibited Discrimination. SFMTA shall not exclude persons from participation in, deny benefits to, or otherwise discriminate against any persons in connection with the award and performance of any contract governed by the Regulations on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin. The City and County of San Francisco also prohibits discrimination on the basis of (the fact or perception of a person’s) race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, domestic partner status, marital status, disability or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome or HIV status (AIDS/HIV status).
