Common use of Professional Staff Development Clause in Contracts

Professional Staff Development. Professional development days will be scheduled and distributed throughout the year in order to allow time for staff to reflect upon and implement new learning. 1. Teachers may be required to schedule additional state mandated professional development hours on their own time if the requirements have not been met during the school year. 2. With prior administration approval, times may be provided to classroom teachers for building/district planning needs.
