Pregnancy/Birth and Parental and Adoption Leave Deferral. If a Nurse is entitled to pregnancy/birth or parental, or adoption leave and the child to whom the leave relates is hospitalized for a period exceeding or likely to exceed one week, the Nurse is entitled to return to and resume work and defer the unused portion of leave until the child is discharged from the hospital, upon giving the Employer reasonable notice.
