Common use of Postal disputes Clause in Contracts

Postal disputes. If, at the time at which any notice or other communication referred to in Clause 7.1 is to be served or given, there is in progress any industrial dispute affecting postal deliveries either generally or to or within the postal area in which is situated the address of the intended recipient thereof, then, notwithstanding the provisions of Clause 7.1 or Clause 7.3, such notice or other communication shall be deemed to be sufficiently served only if it is served in accordance with Clause 7.2 and/or is delivered personally.
