The purpose of position evaluation is to determine the content and relative worth of each position and establish internal equity regarding compensation through the position classification plan. The position evaluation approach is a systematic and rational method for rating each position and assigning positions to responsibility groups that reflect their relative value to the District. Procedure: 1. Letter requesting position review sent to Director of Human Resources. 2. Position Evaluation Questionnaires sent to incumbent and incumbent’s supervisor. 3. Completed forms returned to Director of Human Resources.
