POLICE SERVICES OFFICER DUTY FOR ANOTHER AGENCY. Except by mutual agreement of the officer and Chief of Police, a Police Services Officer will not be allowed to serve as a sworn police officer for another agency, including service as a reserve officer. If the Chief of Police withholds consent to allow a peace officer to engage in or be employed in other employment while off duty, the Chief of Police shall, at the time of denial, provide the reasons for the denial in writing to the peace officer.
