Common use of Period of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Period of the Agreement. (a) This Agreement shall be in full force and effect until and including the 31st day of March, 1961, subject to written notice by either of the parties to the other sixty (60) days prior to the anniversary date of a desire to reopen this Agreement. A copy of the proposed changes in the conditions shall be given to the other party not later than thirty (30) days after the date of notification to re-open the above conditions. In the event that notice to amend this Agreement is not served by either party sixty (60) days prior to the expiration date of this Agreement, and changes sub­ mitted in accordance with the thirty (30) days provision mentioned above, this Agreement shall be deemed to be renewed from year to year thereafter, subject to sixty
