Payment of salary during absence. 12.2.1 Subject to the Executive complying with the terms of Clause 12.1, the Company shall continue to pay Basic Salary and other benefits during any period of absence due to sickness or injury for up to a maximum period of 10 weeks in any period of 12 consecutive months unless the Employment is terminated in terms of Clauses 3 or 16. Thereafter the Company shall pay half basic salary and benefits for a further period of 10 weeks in that period of 12 consecutive months unless the employment is terminated in terms of Clauses 3 or 16.
