Common use of Overtime; Shift Work Clause in Contracts

Overtime; Shift Work. (i) For shift workers other than those working continuous 12 hour shifts, overtime will be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter. (ii) For 12 Hour Shift Workers, overtime will be paid at the rate of double time. Overtime will only apply to work in excess of 12 hours per day or if the hours worked exceed those specified in the shift pattern in Appendix A in this Part (Part 2).
