Other Processes. If while employed in a bargaining unit position and in relation to their employment in a bargaining unit position, a Graduate Worker or the Union believe that a Graduate Worker is experiencing mistreatment not based on their membership in a protected class as defined in Section I above, or if OIEA determines that a Graduate Worker's claim does not fit within the framework of Policy 9000, the Graduate Worker or the Union may bring the matter to the University's attention by notifying the Office of Labor Relations, or Human Resources Department; or the Union may file a grievance at Step 2 or 3. If a report brought pursuant to this paragraph involves a faculty member respondent, Labor Relations will refer the matter to the faculty member's ▇▇▇▇ to be addressed in accordance with the Faculty Standards of Conduct Review Procedures. If a report brought pursuant to this paragraph involves a student respondent, Labor Relations will refer the matter to the academic unit of the student respondent to be addressed consistent with established procedures for addressing student conduct. All other reports brought pursuant to this paragraph will be addressed by Human Resources.
