Common use of Optional HMO Plan Clause in Contracts

Optional HMO Plan. The District will make available to employees an HMO Plan as an alternative to the District’s medical insurance plan as provided in Section 1 of this Article. The District will pay the cost of such optional plan up to the amount of the monthly premium that the District pays as specified in Section 1 of this Article. As of an established date each year, employees may switch coverage between the District’s medical insurance plan as provided in Section 1 and the HMO Plan as provided in this Section.
