Obstructions - General. The following applies to all obstructions authorized by this Agreement: • applications shall be accompanied by a drawing showing size, materials, dimensions and location of the obstruction • obstructions shall be located in a manner that will allow easy access for vehicle doors to open and they shall not impede the use of the street for parking purposes • obstructions shall be out of the main pedestrian traffic flow, allowing a 1.5M (5 feet) of unobstructed walkway and shall present no hazard to pedestrians • obstructions shall not block access to and from buildings or restrict the normal flow of pedestrians • obstructions shall not be placed on poles supporting traffic signals and shall not interfere with signing or other control devices. • obstructions shall have a maximum length parallel to the street of 2.75 metres (10 ft), a maximum width perpendicular to the street of 1 metre (3 ft) and a maximum height of 1 metre (3 ft) unless otherwise specifically approved. • obstructions shall be limited to two per business where space permits • obstructions shall be made of substantial weather resistant materials in a good workmanlike manner with no sharp corners or edges • obstructions shall be maintained in good condition • if in the opinion of the City Engineer, the placement of the obstruction is in violation of these or other applicable regulations, the violations shall be immediately corrected to the satisfaction of the City Engineer • the City Engineer or his designate may contact adjacent property owner or other interested parties if it is perceived the obstruction approval may adversely affect the neighbourhood • fire service connections must be unobstructed

  • Contractor’s General Responsibilities The Contractor, regardless of any delegation or subcontract entered by the Contractor, shall be responsible for the following when providing information technology staff augmentation services:

  • Special Offers/Promotions Generally Where Contractor generally offers more advantageous special price promotions or special discount pricing to other customers during the Contract term for a similar quantity, and the maximum price or discount associated with such offer or promotion is better than the discount or Net Price otherwise available under this Contract, such better price or discount shall apply for similar quantity transactions under this Contract for the life of such general offer or promotion; and

  • Electrical Safety Only UL approved items are permitted in Housing & Residence Life. Extension and multi-use cords must be heavy duty, single plug, and be UL approved. Altering or adapting electrical outlets and equipment and overloading circuits jeopardize safety and thus are not permitted.

  • Services Generally Throughout the Term of this Agreement, the Contractor shall provide the Services in the Service Areas in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

  • Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established different requirements that apply to all similarly situated generators in the New York Control Area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Compliance with Laws Generally Contractor complies in all material respects with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to Contractor’s business and services.

  • Records Generally Xxxxxx agrees to keep and to have in its possession complete and accurate books and records showing the production and disposition of any and all substances produced on the leased land and to permit Lessor, at all reasonable hours, to examine the same, or to furnish copies of same to Lessor upon request along with purchaser's support documentation. Lessor will not be unreasonable with requests. All said books and records shall be retained by Xxxxxx and made available in Colorado to Lessor for a period of not less than five (5) years.

  • Use of Other Leave (a) An employee may elect to use annual or long service leave credits for some or all of their absence on Defence service, in which case they will be treated in all respects as if on normal paid leave.

  • Conduct of Local Church Operations From the date of this Disaffiliation Agreement through and until the Closing, the Local Church: (a) will conduct its operations substantially in accordance with past practice and will use commercially reasonable efforts, subject to the foregoing, to maintain and preserve its operations and organization consistent with past practice and efficient and economical management, (b) will not take any action that is inconsistent with its charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code or that otherwise adversely affects its tax-exempt status, and (c) will not take any action that would cause its representations and warranties in this Disaffiliation Agreement not to remain true and correct as of Closing, except with the prior written consent of the Annual Conference.

  • POSITIONS OF SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITY 1. The Board, in consultation and agreement with the Union, will draw up job descriptions for all Positions of Special Responsibility, including, but not limited to, Head Teachers, Department Heads, Helping Teachers and Teachers in Charge. These descriptions shall be recognized as the job descriptions for such positions.
