Common use of Normal Work Day/Normal Work Week Clause in Contracts

Normal Work Day/Normal Work Week. For all purposes in this Agreement, the normal work day shall consist of eight (8) consecutive hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period beginning at the regular starting time of an employee’s shift. The normal work week shall consist of forty (40) hours consisting of five (5) consecutive work days. The normal work week commences at 12:01 a.m. Sunday and ends at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday.

The normal work week shall consist of forty thirty-seven and one-half (4037 1/2) hours consisting of five (5) consecutive work days. The normal work week commences at 12:01 a.m. Sunday and ends at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday.
