Common use of Nights Clause in Contracts

Nights. A nurse who works the night shift, a shift scheduled for the majority of the 17 hours of the shift occurring after 2300 hours and before 0700 hours, shall be paid a 18 shift differential as set forth below. 19 • Nurses with zero to three (0-3) years of experience as an RN shall 20 receive a premium of nine dollars ($9.00) per hour for all hours worked 21 on that shift. 22 • Nurses with three or more (3+) years of experience as an RN shall 23 receive a premium of eleven dollars and fifty cents ($11.50) per hour 24 for all hours worked on that shift.
