Common use of Nights Clause in Contracts

Nights. A nurse will receive a night shift differential of $4.75/hr on all 4 hours worked between 11 P.M. and 7 A.M. 5 Consecutive Years Night Shift Work Enhanced Differential: 6 Regular RNs with at least twelve (12) months of consecutive 7 regularly scheduled night shift work (at least fifty percent 8 (50%) of scheduled FTE hours on night shift) will receive 50¢ 9 increase, applicable as long as RN stays regularly scheduled 10 (fifty percent (50%) test) on night shift ($5.25/hr total night shift 11 premium): 12 Three (3) consecutive twelve (12) month periods 13 regularly scheduled night shift – additional 35¢ ($5.60/hr total 14 night shift premium) 15 16 Five (5) consecutive twelve (12) month periods 17 regularly scheduled night shift – additional 35¢ ($5.95/hr total 18 night shift premium) 19 20 All twelve (12) month periods will be evaluated four (4) times 21 per year, on the first (1st) of January, April, July, and October 22 of each year, with increases paid prospectively only.

A nurse will receive a night shift differential of $4.754.50/hr on all 4 2 hours worked between 11 P.M. and 7 A.M. 5 3 Consecutive Years Night Shift Work Enhanced Differential: 6 Regular 4 Code 1 and Code 2 RNs with at least twelve (12) months of 5 consecutive 7 regularly scheduled night shift work (at least fifty 6 percent 8 (50%) of scheduled FTE hours on night shift) will 7 receive 50¢ 9 increase, applicable as long as RN stays regularly 8 scheduled 10 (fifty percent (50%) test) on night shift ($5.255.00/hr 9 total night shift 11 premium): 12 10 Three (3) consecutive twelve (12) month periods 13 11 regularly scheduled night shift – additional 35¢ ($5.605.35/hr total 14 12 night shift premium) 15 16 13 14 Five (5) consecutive twelve (12) month periods 17 15 regularly scheduled night shift – additional 35¢ ($5.955.70/hr total 18 16 night shift premium) 19 20 17 18 All twelve (12) month periods will be evaluated four (4) times 21 19 per year, on the first (1st) of January, April, July, and October 22 20 of each year, with increases paid prospectively only.
