Common use of MONTHLY DISCUSSION MEETINGS Clause in Contracts

MONTHLY DISCUSSION MEETINGS. In order to provide continuous cooperation between the majority representative of teachers and the District, representatives of the Superintendent and the majority representative of teachers may, at the request of either party, meet on a mutually agreeable day each month during the regular school year at a time convenient to both parties. The purpose of these meetings shall be to review the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and to resolve problems that may arise pertaining thereto. Each party will submit to the other, no later than two (2) days prior to the meeting, an agenda covering what they wish to discuss. If no agenda is submitted by either party, no meeting will be held that month. Matters not specifically covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, but of common concern, shall be subject to informal discussions upon the request of either party. The parties agree to cooperate in arranging special or emergency meetings to ensure prompt actions in emergencies situations.
