Employee Benefits Programs. It is the District’s and the Union’s intention to explore and tailor a collaborative framework that supports our mission to provide a quality education for all children. Listed below are the current labor management collaboration committees. All committee members will participate on a voluntary basis. Every effort will be made to schedule all committee meetings outside of the normal school day or during non- instructional time.

Employees must complete three (3) months of employment to be eligible for the benefit coverages out in Sections and Coverage commences on the first day following completion of three (3) months service and stops immediately upon termination. Employee Benefits Programs. 39.01 Group Life Insurance - The group life insurance coverage shall be as determined by the plan accepted by the Standing Committee on Insured Benefits. Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance will be provided on a voluntary basis, at the employee's cost.

Employee Benefits Programs. (i) The Member Plans (as defined below) are in compliance in all material respects with all applicable requirements of Section 3(3) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended ("ERISA"), the Code, and other applicable laws and have been administered in all material respects in accordance with their terms and such laws. Each Member Plan which is intended to be qualified within the meaning of Section 401 of the Code has received a favorable determination letter as to its qualification, and nothing has occurred that could reasonably be expected to cause the loss of such qualification;
(ii) There are no pending or, to the knowledge of each of the Members, threatened claims and no pending or, to the knowledge of each of the Members, threatened litigation with respect to any Member Plans, other than ordinary and usual claims for benefits by participants and beneficiaries; and
(iii) No event has occurred and no condition exists that could reasonably be expected to result in material liability to the Company under Title IV of ERISA. "Member Plans" shall mean each material "employee benefit plan" (within the meaning of ERISA), severance, change in control or employment plan, program or agreement, and vacation, incentive, bonus, stock option, stock purchase, and restricted stock plan, program or policy sponsored or maintained by each Member or its Subsidiaries, in which any present or former employee of such Member has any present or future right to benefits or under which each Member or its Subsidiaries has any present or future liability.
