Common use of Minimum Hours Clause in Contracts

Minimum Hours. (a) Where a casual employee is called to work but is informed on arrival at the worksite they will not be required to work that shift, the employee is entitled to a minimum of two hours' pay. Where a casual employee is called to work, begins their duties and is subsequently informed they will not be required to work the full shift, the employee is entitled to a minimum of four hours' pay.
