Common use of Military Encampment Allowance Clause in Contracts

Military Encampment Allowance. An Employee who is required to attend an encampment of the Reserve of the Armed Forces or the National Guard shall be paid, for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks in any one (1) calendar year, the difference between the amount paid by the government (not including travel, subsistence and quarters allowance) and his/her Regular Rate of Pay for the number of days s/he would have been scheduled to work during such encampment.
