Common use of Military Encampment Allowance Clause in Contracts

Military Encampment Allowance. 15.7 An Employee who attends an encampment (for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks in any one (1) calendar year), weekend drill, or any specialized training in preparation for active duty assignment of the Reserve of the Armed Forces or the National Guard shall be paid the difference between the amount paid by the Government (not including travel, subsistence and quarters allowance) and his/her Regular Rate of Pay for the number of days s/he would have been scheduled to work during such encampment, weekend drill or specialized training in preparation for active duty assignment. Such hours paid shall be considered hours worked for all purposes.
