Common use of Medicaid Wrap-Around Services for Outpatient Clause in Contracts

Medicaid Wrap-Around Services for Outpatient. Drugs and Biological Products Effective March 1, 2012, STAR+PLUS MCOs will provide Medicaid wrap-around services for outpatient drugs and biological products to STAR+PLUS Members under a non-risk, cost settlement basis, as described in Attachment A, Section 10.16, "Supplemental Payments for Medicaid Wrap-Around Services for Outpatient Drugs and Biological Products." Refer to HHSC's Uniform Managed Care Manual, Chapter 2.2, "Pharmacy Claims Manual," for additional information regarding the claims processing requirements for these Medicaid wrap-around services.
