Common use of Maximum Leave Clause in Contracts

Maximum Leave. Leave for injury or illness, caused by a communicable disease contracted in the line of duty, will be granted up to a maximum of ten (10) days per year when an employee is absent from his/her duties because of such injury/illness. The following list, while not to be interpreted to be all inclusive, are examples of communicable diseases: Aids, Chicken Pox, Measles, Head Lice, Hepatitis A and B, Meningitis, Mumps, Scarlet Fever, Strep Throat, Tuberculosis and Whooping Cough.
