Manual Entry of data. The Merchant must not manually enter a card number or other information into the payment terminal except as part of a procedure to comply with Special terms and conditions imposed on hotels in connection with no-show transactions and Delayed Charges, as well as Delayed Charges or modified transactions for car rental firms. If the payment terminal is in offline mode and have offline transaction functionality, the Card’s chip or magnetic stripe must be read in the payment terminal. The Merchant must, before com- pleting an offline transaction, verify that the Card is valid, and call Nets’ authorisation service (refer to xxx.xxxx.xx/xxxxxxxx for the telephone number) to make sure that the Card is not blocked. The Merchant will receive an Authorisation Code if the Authorisa- tion is approved, and will receive a rejection notice if the Card is blocked, if there are insufficient funds, etc. The Merchant must enter the Authorisation Code into the payment terminal. Under no circumstances should the Merchant give the Cardholder or a third party permission to enter a card number or Authorisation Code into the payment terminal.

  • Information and Data 21.1 At all times during the subsistence of this Agreement the duly authorized representatives of each Participant shall, at its and their sole risk and expense and at reasonable intervals and times, have access to the Property and to all technical records and other factual engineering data and information relating to the Property which is in the possession of the Operator.
