MAINTENANCE OF PLANT AND EQUIPMENT. Employees shall be responsible for; 1 maintaining the necessary logbooks and/or plant records, as supplied by the employer, as required by OH&S regulations. 2 checking the serviceability (i.e. oil, water, tyres etc) on a daily basis; 3 checking lifting gear including chains, slings, hooks, shackles etc on a daily basis. 4 maintaining all plant and equipment operated by them in good working order so not to affect safe usage; 5 notifying management at the earliest possible time of all damaged, defective or unserviceable plant and equipment;
