Common use of Longevity Pay/Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Longevity Pay/Eligibility. Full-time employees who have completed three (3) years of service with the Xxxxxx County Sheriff's Office shall receive $30.00 per year of service. When an employee's anniversary date occurs prior to November 01 of a payment year, he shall receive full payment. The above payments shall be paid in a lump sum on the first pay day of November each year. For purposes of calculating continuous service, only full years of service shall be used and there will be no pro-ration of years of service.
