Eight (28) Working Days In the event of a long-term layoff, affected employees shall have the right to exercise their seniority to move into another department providing that they have the necessary qualifications and ability to perform the normal requirements of the job. Should they not have any of these pre-existing requirements then the Company shall provide the necessary training to these employees in order for them to meet such requirements. Any employees refusing the offered training would forfeit their seniority rights noted above and would be laid-off accordingly.
