Local Holidays. Employees will be granted leave with pay on any day proclaimed as a Civic Holiday within the municipality. Prairie Public School District Employees’ Association Collective Agreement Employees will be granted annual vacation leave with pay according to the following schedule:

In any year in which February 29th occurs, unit members who are not instructional year employees, and are in paid status on that day, shall be entitled to take a floating holiday between March 1 and December 31 of that calendar year. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday in lieu of the day observed. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be deemed to be the holiday in lieu of the day observed.
