Load Hours Sample Clauses
The Load Hours clause defines the specific periods during which a service provider is authorized or required to perform loading operations. Typically, this clause outlines the days of the week and hours of the day when loading can take place, such as restricting activity to business hours or excluding weekends and holidays. By clearly specifying these timeframes, the clause helps prevent disputes over access and scheduling, ensuring both parties have a mutual understanding of when loading activities are permitted.
Load Hours. For the purpose of overload or load when contact hour and class assignments are mixed, one (1) contact hour, i.e., one (1) hour each week of the semester, shall be computed as equivalent to 0.60 faculty load hours.
Load Hours. A Member who is assigned a course load that includes labs and clinical contact hours that encompass eighty percent (80%) or more of their overall contact hours assigned, and whose base teaching load as calculated in Art. V. Sec. 2 of this Agreement does not exceed the 15 Load Hours, may opt to utilize the teaching load model applicable to them in the 2019-2022 negotiated agreement, including the agreed upon load calculation spreadsheet utilized for determining overload. The purpose of this provision is to ensure that a Member assigned a course load during the term of this contract that is equivalent to the course load assigned to them during the 2021-2022 Contract Year will be held harmless.
Load Hours. Any teaching load exceeding fifteen (15) load hours shall be paid as overload as set forth below. Load Hours shall be determined utilizing the following formula: (lecture contact hours/15) + (lab/clinical contact hours/15 x 0.60)
