Load Hours. For the purpose of overload or load when contact hour and class assignments are mixed, one (1) contact hour, i.e., one (1) hour each week of the semester, shall be computed as equivalent to 0.60 faculty load hours.

Load Hours. Any teaching load exceeding fifteen (15) load hours shall be paid as overload as set forth below. Load Hours shall be determined utilizing the following formula: (lecture contact hours/15) + (lab/clinical contact hours/15 x 0.60)
Load Hours. A Member who is assigned a course load that includes labs and clinical contact hours that encompass eighty percent (80%) or more of their overall contact hours assigned, and whose base teaching load as calculated in Art. V. Sec. 2 of this Agreement does not exceed the 15 Load Hours, may opt to utilize the teaching load model applicable to them in the 2019-2022 negotiated agreement, including the agreed upon load calculation spreadsheet utilized for determining overload. The purpose of this provision is to ensure that a Member assigned a course load during the term of this contract that is equivalent to the course load assigned to them during the 2021-2022 Contract Year will be held harmless. The Career Academy (TCA): The Members assigned to teach within The Career Academy (TCA) (TCA Instructors) program operated jointly by the College and Lincoln Public Schools (LPS), will have an Academic Year schedule that is a combination of the College Academic Year calendar and the LPS academic year calendar and will be compensated on a per diem basis for days of service beyond the College Academic Year.

  • Extra Hours (a) Any additional hours beyond base hours shall be offered in a fair and impartial manner among "A" list part-time employees in the classification and in the geographical location in which the additional hours are required. Each zone, each bureau and One Yonge Street shall be considered separate geographical locations. A part-time employee who is scheduled to work, (under the terms of Article 7) additional hours beyond the base hours and who does not work those hours due to sickness, shall be paid for such hours under the application of the Sick Leave provisions under Article 13 and Clause (2405).

  • Shift Hours All shifts assigned by the Employer must conform with the following guidelines:

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • Summer Hours a) Every year, for a period of ten (10) weeks, from mid-June to mid-August (exact dates to be posted by the Human Resources Department) the length of the regular work week is reduced by three (3) hours without reduction in remuneration.

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Ordinary Hours 6.1.1 Ordinary hours will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a maximum of 7.6 ordinary paid hours a day. All ordinary hours shall be worked between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

  • Minimum Hours In the event of an employee starting work in any day and being sent home before s/he has completed four (4) hours, s/he shall be paid for four (4) hours at the regular rate of pay. No pay entitlement will apply if the employee is incapable of performing his/her duties.

  • Operating Hours Subject to Building Rules and Regulations and such security standards as Landlord may from time to time adopt, the Building shall be open to the public during the Building Operating Hours and the Premises shall be open to Tenant during hours other than Building Operating Hours.

  • Scheduled Hours Hours falling within an employee's scheduled tour.
