Licensed. 1. The normal workday for full-time employees is eight and one half (8½) hours excluding a minimum one-half (½) hour duty-free lunch period. 2. The employee will work a one hundred ninety (190) day contract. Any extra days required to meet both NCESD and assigned district obligations will be fulfilled in the form of an extended contracted by the Superintendent and paid at the teacher’s current contract rate. 3. The employee must fulfill the yearly work calendar of the district in which they are assigned. 4. The employee’s daily work schedule, including preparation time, shall be provided in accordance with the school district to which the employee is assigned.
