Level Two - Formal. If the Grievant is dissatisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level One – Formal, the Grievant may complete Level Two Grievance Form and submit to the Superintendent within ten (10) days of written disposition of Level One – Formal. Within ten (10) days of receipt of the Level Two Grievance Form, the Superintendent shall meet with the Grievant. The Superintendent shall execute written disposition of the grievance within ten (10) days of such meeting.

Level Two - Formal. 1. In the event the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition at Level One, or no decision has been rendered within five (5) days after the informal meeting, he/she may initiate the formal proceedings.
Level Two - Formal. If the aggrieved is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance, he/she may file a written grievance with his immediate supervisor within five (5) days following the decision at Level One. This complaint shall set forth the grounds upon which the complaint is based, the contract clauses involved and the remedy requested. The immediate supervisor shall communicate his/her decision in writing within three (3) days to the aggrieved.
Level Two - Formal. 1. If the informal discussion does not resolve the issue, such employee shall have the right to lodge a written grievance with his/her appropriate supervisor/administrator. If the grievance is not lodged within ten (10) working days following the discussion at Level One, the grievance shall be waived. A copy of the grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent and Association President.
Level Two - Formal. If the alleged grievance is not resolved at the informal level, the grievant may within ten (10) workdays of the informal meeting submit a formal, written grievance to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The written grievance shall set forth in a clear and concise manner the contract provision(s) alleged to have been violated, the circumstances involved, and the specific remedy sought. Within ten (10) workdays of the filing of the formal, written grievance, the grievant and the Chief Human Resources Officer shall meet in an attempt to resolve the alleged grievance. There will be no meetings during school recess periods unless mutually agreed upon by the grievant and the District. The Chief Human Resources Officer shall have ten (10) workdays after the formal meeting in which to render a written decision to the grievant. If the grievance is not resolved at this level, or if the Chief Human Resources Officer has not rendered a decision within the ten (10) workday time limit, the grievant may appeal the decision in writing to the Superintendent/President within ten (10) work days of receipt of the written decision or within ten (10) work days of the expiration of the Level Two time limit if no decision has been rendered. The written appeal to Level Three shall include a copy of the original alleged grievance, the decision rendered at Level Two, if any, and the reasons for the appeal.
Level Two - Formal a. If the problem has not been resolved at the immediate supervisory level, the unit member shall use the CSEA Contract Grievance Filing Form, Level Two, and submit it to the next higher supervisory level having authority to take corrective action.

If such written grievance is not filed within ten (10) calendar days of the occurrence of the act or condition giving rise to the grievance, the grievant shall have waived the right to file a grievance. The grievance shall be on a standard form and shall contain a concise statement of the facts upon which the grievance is based, a specific reference to the provision allegedly violated, and the relief sought. A copy of such grievance shall be filed with the Superintendent. The employee shall have the right to request a hearing before his/her immediate supervisor. Such hearing shall be established within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of such request. The aggrieved employee shall be advised in writing of the time, place, and date of the hearing. The immediate supervisor shall take action on the written grievance, or, if a hearing is requested, within seven (7) calendar days after the conclusion of said hearing. The action taken shall be reduced to writing and copies sent to the employee, the Superintendent, the Treasurer of the Board and the President of the Association. If the immediate supervisor does not respond in a timely manner, the grievance automatically proceeds to level three.
